WhatsApp & the call

COD Order Confirmation on WhatsApp in Morocco — and Why the Call Closes It

WhatsApp is where your customer already is, and we message them at every stage — free. But a reply is not a decision. The order itself is confirmed by a real phone call, which is why the parcel actually arrives.

A reply is not a confirmation

Message-only confirmation answers the customer without ever understanding them. The tool replies quickly, the conversation looks healthy, and the order still ships to the wrong address with an unconfirmed intent behind it. A call does what a thread cannot:

Confirms the intent

Not "they replied" — an actual yes, said out loud.

Corrects the details

Address, landmark, variant and COD amount, read back and fixed.

Builds trust

A named voice from a Moroccan team, in the customer’s own language.

Handles the hesitation

The objection is answered on the spot, not left in a thread.

The goal is not to answer faster — it is to ship only orders that will actually be accepted at the door.

A workflow built around the call

The messages keep your customer informed. The call is what turns a placed order into a delivered one.

  1. 1 Order received

An automated WhatsApp message confirms we have it — free, and instant.

  2. 2 The confirmation call

Up to 4 call attempts a day, over 3 days, until there is a firm yes or no.

  3. 3 Shipment created

The order is created automatically at your delivery company.

  4. 4 Tracked for 7 days

Follow-up calls, courier coordination and claims, through to the door.

Voice-first

Built for how Moroccans actually communicate

A large share of buyers in Morocco settle things by voice rather than in long written threads. A question that takes six messages and an hour takes one sentence on a call. Our workflow is built around that habit: we reach customers on the channel that actually gets a decision — the phone — and use WhatsApp to keep them informed around it. That is the difference between a customer who reads a message and one who confirms.

The call converts. The messages reinforce it.

Automated WhatsApp messages — free

Order received, confirmed after the call, shipped, out for delivery. A written trail of what was agreed, at no cost, included with the CRM.

Conversion: intent confirmed, objections handled, address corrected, amount agreed — in Darija, Arabic and French.

Together: the reach of automation with the delivery rate only a real conversation produces. Read our guide on how to confirm COD orders on WhatsApp.

Why WhatsApp alone does not confirm a COD order in Morocco

WhatsApp earns its place: a Moroccan buyer opens a message from a named business, and it leaves a written trail of what was agreed. But answering a message is not the same as deciding to buy. Automated threads collect replies from people who are browsing, distracted, or simply being polite — and the wrong address and the wrong variant ship anyway. That is how a seller ends up with a full inbox, a thin delivery rate, and an ad budget spent on conversations. So we use WhatsApp for exactly what it is good at — keeping your customer informed, free — and confirm the order itself on a call.

Frequently asked questions

Do you confirm orders on WhatsApp or by phone?

The order is confirmed by phone call — that is what produces a real decision. WhatsApp runs alongside it: automated messages tell your customer the order was received, confirmed, shipped and out for delivery. Those messages are free and included.

Why not just confirm by message?

Because a reply is not a decision. Message threads collect polite answers from people who are browsing or distracted, so the order ships with an unverified address and an unconfirmed intent, and comes back. A call settles intent, address, variant and amount in one conversation.

How fast do you contact a new order?

An automated WhatsApp message goes out within seconds, and an operator calls within about 10 minutes — while the customer still remembers placing the order.

What happens if the customer does not answer?

Up to 4 call attempts a day, spread across different time windows, for 3 days — with a WhatsApp message letting them know we tried — until there is a firm yes or no. If we never confirm it, you pay nothing.

Do your operators speak Darija?

Yes — Darija, Arabic and French. Moroccan buyers respond very differently when they are addressed in the language they actually use, which is a large part of why the confirmation rate holds up.

What does it cost?

10 MAD per delivered order. There is no subscription and no per-call charge, and you are never billed for fake orders or deliveries that fail.

Which platforms do you work with?

Shopify, WooCommerce, YouCan, Dropify and Google Sheets, plus manual order upload if you work outside a storefront.
